House Maxwell Welcomes You!

House Maxwell is a household within the world of the Society for Creative Anachronism, made up of some good friends who adore coffee, tea, cola, and/or chocolate (or at the very least appreciate the joke). Maxwellians and a few invited guests gather at SCAdian events whenever possible and try to not get up too early in the morning. When they do awake, the first one to make the coffee becomes The Maxwell (the figurehead leader of the group for whom the Household is named) for the day in recognition of their great sacrifice. The Maxwell can be identified as the one wearing Maxwell's Silver (er, well, pewter) Hammer.

Lionel Tanner, Lord of the House
Anna Tanner, Lady of the House
"We won't grieve for tomorrow, much less for another year.
Our money we shall trade for coffee and moonshine,
And along the way we shall revel."

-- Garmarna
