Welcome to the Sacred Arts CircleThe music, dance and song circle is body, emotion, mind and spirit made visible. It is a tangible, multi-sensory reflection of community relationships. The Sacred Arts Circle is an environment of active meditation; a social/spiritual practice harnessing participatory movement and sound to focus and alter consciousness. Our goal within the Circle is to enhance our relationships with self, others, and our world through deep engagement and playful interaction. We come together in the spirit of discovery and delight, interacting through a variety of "roadmaps to ecstasy". Most Circles include chanting, eclectic movement, percussion, spoken word, sacred sounds, ritual theatre — and many other forms of artistic magic! Everyone is encouraged to step out and contribute their creativity, passion and art. The nature of the Circle is such that each offering is held and nurtured — both our individual and group confidence blossoms! The inspiration and connection of the Circle deepens. All new participants are expected to read the Orientation. This describes the architecture of the practice, as well as clarifies the various roles we all can — and will need to — step into in order to ensure that this type of circle work is sustainable. The Circle is a safe space. No performance pressure. No expectations to live up to. Simply the joy of discovering each other and exchanging positive energy. The Sacred Arts Circle welcomes friends from all spiritual traditions;
